Calendar
Calendar keeps your schedule, with calendars you store on your machine and ones you bring in from online accounts, all in the same place.
Three ways to see your time
Section titled “Three ways to see your time”Switch between month, week, and day from the control at the top. The month view lays out a full grid; the week and day views break the time into hours so timed events sit where they belong. Double-click a day in the month view and Calendar drops you straight into that day.
Moving around
Section titled “Moving around”A date picker in the sidebar moves you to any month or year, and a Today button brings you back to now. The label at the top always tells you where you are: the month, the week’s range, or the day.
Events
Section titled “Events”Events show as chips, each colored by the calendar it belongs to, so at a glance you can tell work from personal from a shared calendar. Click a chip to see the event’s time, or that it runs all day, along with its description.
Your calendars
Section titled “Your calendars”Local calendars live on your machine, and you can keep more than one, so personal
and project schedules stay separate. You can pull events in from an .ics file.
The sidebar lists every calendar you have with its color and a switch to show or
hide it, so you can focus on one without losing the others.
Online accounts
Section titled “Online accounts”Calendar reads online calendars over CalDAV through the system’s online accounts, which covers Google, Nextcloud and ownCloud, and Exchange. Connect an account once and its calendars join the list beside your local ones, colored and toggled the same way.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Calendar remembers the view you prefer to open in and whether to show weekends.
